Sunday Volunteering

The monthly Sunday Volunteering group is starting up again. It involves many and varied tasks around the Park and is usually the 1st Sunday every month.

The task for Sunday 4th February is coppicing hazel – always a worthwhile activity which brings light into the woodland as well as providing useful products which can be used on the Estate and in the gardens. That’s the plan unless an emergency requires a change.

Anyone wishing to help should meet the task manager Peter Larner in the Stable Courtyard at 10:00 to complete the safety briefing before we go to the site to commence the task.  The task day should finish around 2:30 and of course, people are welcome to leave sooner if they wish.  Participants should also bring their own food and refreshments.

We hope that participants will find it an enjoyable and rewarding day.
