Following the success of the first historical guided event, the Friends have arranged a repeat tour of Temple Newsam, aimed at adults, walking around the outside of Temple Newsam House, stable block and farm buildings with a volunteer tour guide on Sunday 3rd October at 2 p.m, looking at the lavish history of this fascinating estate. The walk will take a leisurely hour or so..
> This is a fund raising event for the Friends and all funds will go towards the project to replace the electric mobility scooters
>The walks are being led by Hazel Lunn who is a volunteer guide for Leeds Civic Trust.
> The price will be £9 per person (concession for members of the Friends of £8, please show membership card to tour guide). This price will include entry into the farm area. Places are limited to 15 people and pre-booking is essential. If the walk proves to be successful it will be repeated over next spring and summer, to allow more people to participate.
