Litter picking equipment.
Members have told us that they would be keen to clear any pockets of litter that they may come across when walking around the park. Following consultation with the staff, we’ve been working hard to achieve this and we’re pleased to announce we are currently trialing a members ‘womble’ initiative. Details of the process are on the poster in the Friends cabinet just off the Courtyard, and below.
To ensure the equipment is returned we ask you to deposit your membership card with the office, log in to the record book held in the office, and the card will be redeemed on return of the equipment. Please register in the log book how many purple bags you use which is collated monthly for ‘Litter Free Leeds’
We do ask that if you could take a photo of before and after to share with your fellow members, and that if you have any comments regarding the trial, please do let us know, or enter on the log book in the office.
