This magnificent Tudor-Jacobean stately home is one of the more celebrated historic houses in England. Boasting over 30 interiors of outstanding decor, and sumptuous collections of furniture, ceramics, pottery, “old master” paintings and silverware, the House is full of treasures to explore. Set in over 1,000 acres of beautiful parkland you can also wander the grounds, enjoy a picnic and visit the Home Farm.

Visiting the House
The House is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm. The House is open for individual viewing with a new Audio Guide, but tours are also available. Please phone for details.
The Farm is closed on Mondays, except Bank Holidays and October school holidays. Until Covid-19 restrictions are eased further you need to book farm tickets online.
The Walled Garden and Show House are open from 1st March to the end of December from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm (or dusk).
