Caring for over 1,500 acres of parkland, forests and listed buildings isn’t an easy task. Friends of Temple Newsam Park are proud to assist Leeds City Council by organising volunteer teams to help with everything from picking litter to running guided walks.
It doesn’t matter if you can only spare an hour or two every couple of months or if you can be there every week – your help will ensure that Temple Newsam Park continues to be a place for everyone to enjoy. You can contact Dave Thorpe in the Estate Office (dave.thorpe@leeds.gov.uk, 0113 3367564) for more details on how you can help.
The easiest way to become a volunteer is to join the Friends of Temple Newsam Park. We’ll make sure you hear about any new opportunities to volunteer in the Park, as well as see if there are any existing teams of volunteers which you’d like to join.
