The Friends are arranging historical guided tours of Temple Newsam, aimed at adults, walking around the outside of Temple Newsam house, stable block and farm buildings with a volunteer tour guide on Sunday 17th July at 11am and later date in August yet to be decided, looking at the lavish history of this fascinating estate. The walk will take a leisurely hour or so.
> This is a fund raising event for the Friends and all funds will go towards the project to replace the electric mobility scooters
>The walks are being led by Hazel Lunn who is a guide for Leeds Civic Trust. .
> The price is £7 per person (concession for members of the Friends of £6, please show membership card to tour guide). This price will include entry into the farm area. Places are limited to 15 people and pre-booking is essential.
